MobyJob provides a job-search workspace at mobyjob.com and app.mobyjob.com. For privacy requests, contact support@mobyjob.com.

Account data (name, email, authentication identifiers), profile and CV content you upload, application and job data you create, usage logs, and technical data (IP address, device/browser type) needed to secure the service.

We process data to provide the service (contract), improve security and performance (legitimate interest), send service communications (contract/legitimate interest), and comply with law (legal obligation). Marketing emails only with your consent where required.

We keep account data while your account is active and for a limited period after deletion for backups and legal obligations. You may export or delete data from the app where available.

Under the GDPR you may access, rectify, erase, restrict, port, or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. We respond within one month.

The MobyJob Chrome extension works only with your MobyJob account and processes data solely to save job offers, fill in application forms and show your applications.

Sign-in: the extension reuses the session of the MobyJob web app (app.mobyjob.com) in the same browser; it never sees or stores your password. Session tokens and a cached copy of your profile are kept only in the extension's local storage (chrome.storage.local) on your device and are removed when you sign out.

Job offers: when you choose to save a job offer, its URL and the details shown on the page (title, company, location, description) are sent to MobyJob and stored in your account. On LinkedIn, Indeed and InfoJobs the extension checks whether the current page is a job offer to show an icon badge; this check runs on your device and nothing is sent unless you save the offer. The extension never collects your browsing history.

Application forms: on supported job sites, the extension can fill in application forms with your profile data (name, email, phone, LinkedIn and portfolio links, location, headline). It does so only after you click to accept, and the data goes only to the form you are filling in.

The extension contains no advertising, analytics or third-party trackers, does not sell or share your data, and does not use it for any purpose other than the features described above.

We use vetted subprocessors (hosting, email, analytics where enabled) under data-processing agreements. Transfers outside the EEA use appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
